Throughout the course, participants will choose content from the current course books and plan units which include all 4 language activities (reception, production ,interaction and mediation) and linguistic competences which will be appropriately scaffolded and mutually reinforcing with the aim of ensuring the self-efficacy of pupils as language users and will enable them to achieve the learning outcomes as described in the can do statements.

Teachers may collaborate in pairs. Ideally, teachers will teach the units they plan, reflect on the units they teach and make changes as needed

Empowering English teachers to facilitate effective, relevant and meaningful  use of the English language in the classroom and beyond.

Creation of teaching units that are in accordance with the updated curriculum.

I have 35 years of experience in teaching grades 7-12, 8 years of experience as district counsellor for the Ministry of Education in Manhi (Jerusalem), 15 years as pedagogical advisor for teacher training at David Yellin College of Education and I have taught courses in the college in Alternative Assessment and Didactics

Throughout the course there will be three synchronous (zoom) sessions from 17:30-19:00

בהתאם לנהלים החדשים של משרד החינוך, נדרשת השלמת כל יחידה בפרק זמן קצוב. לאור זאת לא נוכל לאפשר השלמה של יחידות לימוד באיחור. כמו כן, קבלת גמול מותנית בהשלמת כל משימות הקורס, כולל משימת סיכום.
